Just Another Dream

by The Fly   Feb 12, 2006

Blazing hot rocks falling from the sky.
Destroying everything in their path.
The sky turns blood red, clouds to coal,
And everything rains down upon us.

Fire covers all thats surrounds,
Molten lava leaking from the core.
Of this Earth, destroying itself,
Like nothing ever before.

Well then everything went fine,
And i seen the psychiatrist another time.
And he said son,
It was just another dream.

Atrocious winds strike the trees and plants,
And rip them from the ground they sit.
And water begins to rapidly move up land,
Drowning and swallowing everything that moves.

The highest places, the tallest mountains.
All just crumble to the sea.
And death provokes once again,
Not setting one single soul free.

Well then everything went fine,
And I seen the psychiatrist another time.
And he said son,
It was just another dream.

Blue Sky's filled with the light of the sun.
Birds flocking them through the gentle breeze.
Trees swaying softly as is the grass,
And the temperature is indeed just right.

Smiling faces everywhere around.
Not a crime was heard of, not anything bad.
Peopled helped and loved, and cared for one another,
Not leaving at all one soul sad.

Well, everything seemed just fine.
But I seen the psychiatrist another time.
And he said to me, again once more.
Son, It was just another dream.
