Love Is A Lemon

by The Fly   Aug 2, 2005

I went to tell you my name,
But you don't even no my game,
Instead you just acted like a lemon.

Gave you a smile, made it all worthwhile,
Tried to be nice, but you turned me to ice,
And you just acted like a lemon.

Love is a lemon,
Brings tears to your eyes when you have a taste,
Gives you an ugly face, and you think it was all waste,
And you don't even care for bitterness now do you?
Well I'll be a lemon just the same to you.

Didn't get myself to know what to say,
But i know that maybe one day,
You won't just act like a lemon.

I'm not going to be so shy, I'm gonna make you cry,
I'll walk right up to you, and then I'll look through you,
I myself shall act like a lemon.

Love is a lemon,
Brings tears to your eyes when you have a taste,
Gives you an ugly face, and you think it was all waste,
And you don't even care for bitterness now do you?
Well I'll be a lemon just the same to you.

Love is a lemon,
The sourness turns your world upside down,
Breaks your crown, and turns it all around.
And i don't even care for bitterness either,
But I'll be a lemon just as you desire.

Love is a Lemon.
