A Ray of Shining Hope

IN this dark room
Surrounded by cold
"Just move on"
I'm being told

But how can I?
When you have my heart
So again silently
Tears begin to start

As I can't see
The sun releases a ray
I sit up and look
Where I used to lay

The room in hope
That ray will not diminish
Lighting the room
With dark all finish

But it begins to fade
While I slowly watch
The darkness takes on
A lower and darker notch

Our love is in jeopardy
We are both confused
Stay perfectly fine
While my heart is being abused

Just like the light
We have to wait
We both hope
It won't be too late

    Awwl.. well i hope everything works out. As far as the poem excellent job. I really loved this one the best out of all. Maybe because i can relate to that feeling. Anyways your a great poet so keep writing and i plan to read more!
