Tears of pain

You ignore the tears of pain
That always fall from my eyes
Ignore the emptiness in my soul
When I know you see through this disguise

You ignore the periods of depression
And the cuts on my once beautiful skin
You ignore me reaching out to you
When you know the pain I feel within

I am trying to help you realize
The emptiness felt by me
But you act as if my moods will pass
Try to say that my pain is something you do not see

But what happens when I give up
When I have no more tears to cry
When I cannot handle loneliness anymore
And my dreams are answered and I die

Will you care or even realize
That I needed help from you
Will you be hurt and feel bad
As you finally see that there was more you could do

Alls I want is for you to talk to me
Sit down, hug me, and hold my hand
Even if you just hold me or listen
It says a lot, this you need to understand

So please do not you walk away from me
Do not question, ask or fear
Just hold me and listen
