Wings of salvation carry hope
No longer are we in darkness
The many are set free by one
Our darkest shadows removed.
We did not deserve the one’s love
For it was us that killed Him.
But He still loved us
And continues to love us
Each and every day.
In my darkest hours
His light pierces my doubt
And His love shines through
To pull me away from despair
My love for Him sometimes wavers
But his never ceases
He promised that day He died
That He would rise again
And free us from death.
Three days was all it took
For my Lord to conquer all this
And for all that
Forever I am grateful.
