Things I write in my diary

My goals and unending dreams
vast and far beyond what eyes can see
flowing like a million streams

Thoughts about my future life
growing up into a women
someday a mother and a loving wife

Pressures of growing older
This world expects so much from me
these burdens I carry on my shoulder

Problems I deal with on my own
secrets weighing me down
things about me that will remain unknown

Feelings I keep locked up inside
all my worries and concerns in life
my diary is where I confide

Striving hard in this cruel, crazy world
believing, loving and staying strong
I'm just a simple country girl!

    wonderful poem, strikes me as cute i would have to say. i love the last line that you used to tie the poem together. i don't really have a diary but i would have to say that many of the dreams you have mentioned i have too.
