Crossing Paths

by M MEM   Aug 14, 2005

This is another part of my trail poems, id appreciate it if you checked them out.

Sometimes,
When you are in the darkest,
Deadest,
Scariest,
Loneliest,
Part of your trail,
Another trail crosses yours.
Once that trail crosses,
And joins,
Your's,
You're so much stronger.
They keep you going,
They dry you're tears.
And along the trail,
Some life comes up.
You can make it.
But once,
They break apart,
It's so unbearable.
You stumble,
You hurt,
But you don't give up.
You don't give up,
Because
You don't want to hurt them
You have hope.
And after the trail dies a little,
There is so much life.
Light comes.
And even though
The trails have broken apart,
That doesn't mean forever.
You may run parallel forawhile,
Wave to them every so often.
But somewhere in heart,
You still long for them.
