Mommy why did you die part 2

Mommy its been a while since you and daddy went away.
things here have changed quite a lot.
me and my brother went into care and were adopted.
but it just wasn't the same.

i found marks on my brothers arms,
just like the ones you used to have.
and when i asked him what they were and why.
he told me what you did.
they were to help the pain.

i had to watch as slowly he got worse and worse,
he was even taken into hospital because of it.
and all along i was reminded of you
it seemed like the past was just repeating itself.

eventually he did just what you and daddy did.
he ended it as well leaving me alone in this world.
if he is up there with you please give him my love.
i don't bear any grudges.

mommy i felt as if my whole world was falling apart.
i even began following the family tradition.
but then unlike the rest of you i was saved.
i was saved by my angel.

mommy he means everything to me.
i just wish you could be here now.
here for my wedding,
and here to see your first grandchild be born.

so many special events i should have been able to share with you but now i cant.
if only you didn't have to die mommy i could have shown you what there was to live for.
so mommy please tell me why did you have to die
and miss all of my life?
