To Escape...

What do you do when you are lost
And you keep remembering the past
Because something just simply faded
While you wished that it would last

What do you do when you feel hurt
And nothing is turning out your way
Because the nights aren’t even better
They’re just the same as yesterday

What do you do when you can’t run
And all you know how to do is fall
Someone please tell me what you do
Just to escape from it all

    Very nice poem, short but to the point. The best part of the poem, in my opinion, are the last two lines of the first stanza,
    "Because something just simply faded
    While you wished that it would last "
    Simply beautifully put, I feel like that all the time, but could never really find the words to say it. Wonderful, 5/5
