My Imagination

by Lucy Loves Not   Aug 30, 2005

My imagination is
the ribbon that delicately
holds the perfect present.
It is infinite, without folds,
screaming in pink.
The ribbon which carries me
a million feet above the ground,
as my shoelaces dangle,
with my head in the
clouds.
Soaked in the ribbon,
I breathe in the material.
It runs through my veins
and pumps my blood
with wicked ease.
My imagination
overcomes me.

It's a good poem, but the lines are a little loose. 4/5

Wow. just wow, i dont think you could have made the imagery any better. Excellent! I'm known for my critique, but there just isnt anything wrong with this in any way.

Your attention to minor details really makes your poetry brilliant. Like mentioning the untied shoelaces, very nicely done! This flows very well and just screams with beautiful imagery! Well done~Holly
