A Night Of Mistakes ( A Tragic Love)

An innocent girl with a tragic past,
And a heart that’s been broken many times.
As she stands there, remembering her past,
She is thankful to finally be with the man of her dreams.
He loves and adores her, but he is suddenly unable to control himself.
A night alone in the dark, and she wishes it was her beside him.
But somehow he has forgotten her,
And her heart is broken again.
He begs and pleads and says he loves her,
But she just turns and walks away.

A night of mistakes and a misunderstanding.
A love meant to be put aside and forgotten.
All of her dreams crushed in the hands of heartache and tragedy.
As she walks on this road of broken dreams,
Trying to find one unbroken dream to build her life out of.
Her one true love is gone and done,
And she will never love again.

As she looks back and remembers how happy she was,
She wonders if she made a mistake.
Was he the one? Were they meant to be?
What will she do with her life now? He sits alone and stares at her picture,
Regretting all he did that night. Wishing he could get rid of all his pain and regret,
And someday be with her.

She awakes from a dream in the middle of the night,
And runs outside in the dark.
She runs unknowingly yet wanting to go,
To the place that they first met. She will never forget the guilt and pain she feels when she sees his face,
Or her life of crushed and broken dreams.
As she says goodbye to everything she knows,
She finally forgets her pain.
She throws herself right over the edge and within seconds he is by her side.
Together they fall to be lost to the depths of deepest love forever.
