Surrounded by it's curse

by Mark   Sep 4, 2005

As i lay back my head
And drift into the unpredictable
That could end my life
If i didn't wake as i fall

My eyes still free
Waiting for a re-occurrence of their demise
Waiting to be shut down
With little or no goodbyes

The darkness stares at me
Trying to make me give in
I can feel it's hostility
Like I've committed a sin

Surrounded by its curse
How can i not yield?
It co-exists with nothing
My room is totally sealed

Surrendered to its cause
The new world i now enter
Dreams to experience
Darkness as my mentor
