My Hello

by StarGirl   Sep 11, 2005

My hello to the world is my smile
I'll put it on and forget about all my sorrow.
Can I tell you a secret?
I hold no promisses but plenty of regret.
Things I wish I did, Things I wish I could forget
Words that I could take back
The Qualties that I lack.

I am not dead but tell no tales
Within these walls I hear their wails.
But beyond my sorrow is my hope
Which is how I cope and how
My hello is my smile

Everybody has regrets and thats just the way life goes I guess....but whether you live your life perfectly or not (which I promise you won't) We all have the same result at the end anyways. Excellent job 5/5 GG23

Very good poem. It was short and simple yet held a lot of meaning. The flow was good and the concept was decent. But the best part was your word usage, totally astonishing.
