Smile us to sleep

by Kirsty   Sep 16, 2005

The touch of a single kiss
Rests upon your precious lips
For I'm the one to set it free
The hands will turn, but still just me

The cigarette smells still lingers round
With missing heartbeats making sound
So I'll wonder lonely through the week
Wishing your smile would sing me to sleep

So I'll break the silence and scream your name
Crying without you again and again
But I can't fix a failure to keep it strong
Still loving your beauty but it all has gone

I can relate to what you mean, the whole heartache without that person you desperately need..
