Maybe if I was more your type,
Maybe if I put up more of a fight,
Maybe if I was more beautiful,
There'd be a me and you,

If only I said one more word,
If only I said what my mind heard,
If only that kiss lasted one more second,
My heart wouldn't be left to beckon,

Just one more moment by your side,
Just one more warm feeling inside,
Just one more time,
My lips on yours so fine,

I wish I could go back to that night,
Kiss you just a bit more until it's right,
I wish it was more passionate,
That it was true loves fate,

My next chance I'll take the risk to go,
My next chance I'll move more slow,
My next chance I hope will come true,
So I can dance again with you.

    Just lovely...I love your poem. 5/5 I read your profile too and to be honest I think you should tell that guy the way you feel...there's only one way to find out if you're his type or not! Its better to take a chance...than regret it forever. Take care and thanks for sharing. Great poem ^_^
