My own stupidity

This damn banging in my head
waking up is what I dread

Taking refuge under my covers
still my stupidity only hovers

Come and join us they all said
in cleverness I should have fled

They said we'll only have but one
how quickly that turned into a tonne

Mixing drink after drink
for tomorrow I did not think

Another round of rum and coke
no , the answer I never spoke

Competing for that few hours of fun
my prize ..a hangover I had won

Waking up to a mouth of cotton
feeling sick and totally rotten

Stomach churning inside out
my own imbecility without a doubt

Eyes sore and brimmed with red
a day of torture lays ahead

Myself alone is who I blame
never to do it again I will proclaim

But who am I trying to fool
I've always broken this very rule

The next party I'll be there
booty dancing upon a chair

Laughing and dancing with my friends
for my stupidity never ends...

    Very good and funny. That is how i act at parties and i think other people do to. People can really relate to this poem because thats how they are.

    DAMN WELL I CAN'T TELL YOU THAT I'VE GOTTEN EVER GOTTEN A HANGOVER CUZ I'VE NEVER HAD ONE MAYBE SO THROWING UP BUT LUCKILY I DON'T GET THE NEXT DAY EFFECTS! BUT GOOD POEM I KNOW LOT'S OF PEOPLE CAN RELATE!
