Rest In Peace

by teresa   Sep 30, 2005

We know you're looking down on us with your smiling face

And we just want to let you know no one could ever take your place

But even though we miss you and just with you'd come back home

Forever in our hearts your spirit and soul will roam

And everyday we hope and everyday we pray

That well be wrapped tightly in your arms again one day

And even though you're not on earth we can still feel your presence here

When the sun shines on our faces and the wind whispers in our ears

We all just wish it didn't happen, that just once again we could hear your voice

I know any one of us would have taken your place had we been given the choice

I hope you understand how much we all want to wake from this dream

That every time our cell phones ring we hope your name appears on the screen

We didn't expect it this soon but at life and death we did part

But you still always here with us, you'll live forever in our hearts
