Patience and Friends

by RainbowSlider   Oct 2, 2005

Patience has been asked of me.
I ask others for patience of me.
Others have been patient with me.
I know of others that are patient.
I need patience so I can grow.
Patience gives me freedom of choice.
I choose patience for I like
feeling free.
I try to be patient with others,
so they can grow.
I can give patience
because I like being
with free people.
I can be patient.
I have friends who
freely give me patience.
I can give my friends patience
freely because I am a friend.
Could I ever be truly satisfied
with just one?
Could one ever be truly satisfied
with just me?
Impatience hurts, impatience
takes without asking and impatience
is not friendly.
Impatience is fueled
by loneliness.
Loneliness hurts and loneliness
is what happens to friendless humans.
Loneliness does not hurt other friends
because friends are made out of humans.
Humans get lonely and that is why humans
like having friends for their human.
Humans are not like pets because
humans can talk.
Humans can be better than pets
although pets are nice, too.
Humans don't have to be impatient
and humans don't have to be lonely.
Make sure and friend your human
and give your human patience
so your human can share it
with others.
Patience is love
and love is patience
but you can share
patience when you
can't share love.
