Freedom of Choice

Life is a choice
and doesn't have to be done.
Freedom is frame of mind
where ever you are.
Living is more
than simple survival.
A survivor knows life
and cherishes it.
Life is the background
and we paint ourselves in.
If one can not know pain
then how can one know love?
One's lifestyle and one's
way of viewing life
is the choice made by one.
One is a lonely number
and longs to know two.
Two can have trouble
and really need three.
One is just a number
in the infinite numbers.
Negative numbers can add
but will always be positive.
But negative numbers
always take away.
Addition is always
more than subtraction
except when the subtracted number
is greater than the positive or
negative one.
One to the first power
will always be one.
Geometric sequencing
grows by leaps and bounds.
I always want to be there
for others even though
I can't always be here.
Here is just a frame
of reference to there.
Life is the essence
of all that is good
and even bad.
One can walk alone
or with others.
But the walk
is always worth the effort.
Freedom is the quality
of life that we choose to make it.
