I've always wondered if you...

Remember how we strolled around the park, and then we would sit under the old oak tree?
We would cuddle against its gentle trunk, where we engraved our names for everyone to see
Remember how we would admire the local garden, sampling the scent of every flower?
Your beauty was incomparable to them, and then we went home and talked for hours

Remember when we laid under the stars, under the shade of the moonlight?
We would make out the constellations, and see who could get the most right
Remember how we looked up at the clouds, and pointed out the familiar forms they took?
Then I would turn over and stare into your eyes, I fell in love again with one single look

I remain immortal, through every conversation we had
We never ran out of things to say
I remain immortal, through all the time spent together
I always knew I wanted you to stay

I remain immortal, through the way you made me laugh
You were the reason for the smile on my face
I remain immortal, through the way you looked at me
I then realized no one else could take your place

It doesn't matter where life may take me
Because in my heart you will be my baby
And since I know you feel the same way too
My soul remains immortal through you
