My Last goodbye

Walking alone in the dark shadows of the night
Leaving the town I grew up in letting it all go out of sight
Why am I leaving you ask I will tell you the story from my past
I had a best friend and a lovely wife; well I thought all that would last
I was wrong a week to this day my best friend said he was leaving
I wished him good look and told him ill never forget him, ill always be thinking
After walking him the same road I walk now I said my goodbye
He said he had to wait for someone he said he loved this girl for her he would die
As I walked back down the road back to my house to see my wife, I came across a letter
It said im leaving you, someone as touch my heart, ive found someone better
And on the end of letter it was from not only my wife but my best friend I ran outside
I ran across the field and back up that road I saw there car, as I saw the car go I cried
Here I am still crying I have no reason to live anymore this is the last tear I will cry
This is the last tear over you, I wonâ??t sit her and cry over you this is my last goodbye
