Tetractys: On Lies and the Putrefaction of Time

by HansRik   Oct 7, 2005

Lies
concealed
hideous Truths
Fore'er anon!
And Time shall thus decay in misery.

A Tetractys is a very structured form of poetry which follows the following syllabic count:
Line 1-1 syllable
Line 2-2 syllables
Line 3-3 syllables
Line 4-4 syllables
Line 5-10 syllables

Wow i learnt some thing! I can honestly say i have never heard of a Tetracty before.

    It's different i like it.

as for the poem itself it is very good. and the style causes all the more of an impact to it.
