Entangled

by Vic   Oct 12, 2005

Entwined within my inner haven,
My joy has been greatly misshapen.
Unknown thoughts begin to infiltrate,
Tougher it is to break away.
Fragile threads break apart.
Hard to mend, quite like the heart.
Threads of memories begin to fade.
Deeper ones are in their wake.
Red world is seen through two sore eyes.
When sorrow nears, time seems to die.
Smiles crumble like a decrepit figure.
All dissolves from the initial nature.
What once was great now lies infernal.
Hell rules all, starting now eternal.
Frustration runs through my ongoing thoughts.
Confusion leaking, but never caught.
Hatred for what a soul's become.
What's happened now...can't be undone.
