Lady Death

by Sylvia   Oct 19, 2005

Hello Goddess of Sorrow,
Piercing with your dull gray eyes.
You're only an illusion;
A Mistress of Lies.
Salt tears melt away.
The terror has come to play.
Enjoy her company while you can,
Before you're choking on the grieving sand.
She'll wrap with her arms of the devil,
Sink you down to a new level.
She toys with the strings inside your head,
Slowly placing the thoughts of the dead.
Darkness, depression that is so deep.
She'll suffocate you without a peep.
Her touch is like the frozen wind.
Away from her, you can't defend.
She lives in your heart, your mind, your soul.
A professional at work, she'll take control.
You'll have to pay her deathly toll.
She is the Lady Death.
