Say Goodbye

by Taylor Lyn   Oct 31, 2005

I hear your wedding bells ringing
the church choir singing
yet my tables still set for one.
You are still the light
at the end of my tunnel,
the prize at the end of the race.
I can feel the loneliness within you
I can taste it in your tears.
And as I lay here
on these schards of glass
remnants stained crimson
from my bleeding broken heart.
Your presence still haunts me
in every moment of my nights
and days.
You linger on my thoughts
You linger in my dreams
You are always on my mind
it's inescapable...
why won't you just leave me alone?
I cannot take this pain anymore..
and since you won't come back
to me.
Theres no choice left but to
walk out your door
and out of your life.
I'm not afraid of
being on my own.
I'm not afraid of
being alone.
So...
Say goodbye to this heart your breaking...
Say goodbye to this love we made...
Say goodbye to your best friend
and this home we shared...
Say goodbye, your choice has been made
and now you'll have to live with it
until the end of your last dying day.
