The dark

by master of shadow   Nov 10, 2005

The clouds roll in,
Sun is blocked,
Moonlight lost,
Stars swallowed,
All light is gone,
Darkness triumphs,
Not the darkness of a moonless night,
But the darkness of a shut room,
An empty room closed to the world,
And empty room with a locked door,
Where we will remain,
Trapped and alone,
In the dark.
