DONT GIVE UP

I've been thinking and that's clear to see,
And after you said those things to me,
I'll admit it hurt me and I did cry.

You said that you wonder
If it was worth your time,
And that's what hurt the most
But it was something you
Thought you had to say

And I understand that and it's okay,
I'm actually glad that you said it to me
Because I guess I never realized

Just what I have
And how fast it could disappear,
How fast you could be gone,
How fast my world could change,
I see that now

And as I look back I feel really bad
How I just let things by with out
Telling you how I felt inside,

But I can't change the past
And I can't turn back time
But I still have you now
And I can honestly say that I'll do
My best but it's going to take a little time

But trust me when I tell you
I am sure going to try and
I beg you not to give up.
