Behind These Eyes

by A Fallen Angel   Nov 16, 2005

Behind these eyes that see all
Stands a lonely figure next to a wall
She can't stop shaking and crying
Because everyone is dying

Her sister...her angel wants to die
To that... she just doesn't know how to reply
What to do... what to say?
Nothing helps to keep the darkness at bay

The girl's parents couldn't begin to understand her strife
Because they don't understand what's happened in her life
All of the hurt, sadness, and pain
None of it will be washed away with the rain

Words can't express the girl's anguish and sorrow
All she can think about is tomorrow
Hopefully it will bring something better than today
Because otherwise... she wouldn't know what to say

She constantly asks why she is caught in the core
Screaming inside that her sister isn't a w.h.o.r.e.!
The a.s.s.h.o.l.e. needs to shut his f.u.c.k.i.n.g. mouth
Or she'll cut something off a little south

All of the bad s.h.i.t. is hardening her heart
So when it comes to trust... she doesn't know where to start
All of these terrible things kidnap her smile
Making her life seem not worthwhile

Behind these eyes that see all
Stands a lonely figure next to a wall
She is crying out for a helping hand
For someone to care... to understand
