Even though your gone...

Pictures will be torn and lost
Treasures will be misplaced
Stories you tell will fade with time
But my memories of you i will never replace

The bright blue sky will turn a grey
Crystal clear waters mix with salty tears
As our pretty flowers wilt and die
We face our darkest fear

The ocean waves are silent today
As the birds sing their final song
My shining star no where to be found
My life will never be the same knowing that your gone

Not here to help me when times get rough
To take me away to clear my mind
To just be there when i needed you most
That happiness i never will again find

You helped me through my hardest times
Right there holding my hand
Walking with me side by side
Why did you leave me so soon i will never understand

Seeing you in your white satin bed
Tore my heart apart seam by seam
Waiting for you to wake up and say my name
Only wishing this was a dream

The sound of your laugh has passed with time
The memory of your voice has faded with years
Our time together cut short to fast
Please help me wipe away my tears

From time to time look down on me
From your fluffy cloud up in the sky
Soar through the air with your angel wings
And teach me how to fly

Just because your not here with me
Doesn mean your not in my heart
Your just a prayer away from me
To me thats never far apart...
