What can i say, you tripped me
and i fell pretty hard
usually id lie and say its fine,
but i think this ones gonna scar

i guess you have two options
either way, I'm gonna tell
it just depends on what i say
so run away or make it well

you can pick me up and brush me off
and everything will be alright
or become my playground bully
and break my heart tonight

so if you could be my band-aid
and spare a kiss to ease my pain
i wont have to make up a story
where i "accidentally" slip your name

just so you know this is all your fault
i just didn't know what to do
it was either fall down or in your arms
but i fell in love, who knew!

whatever you do don't say sorry
even if you didn't mean to
cause of all the people who could have tripped me
id only wanna be picked up by you
