Sold to Fate

When I pained throughout the day
I cried throughout the night
You taught me to be strong
And hold my head up high

You stood by my side and taught
Me to stand tall,
You lent me the helping hand
At every downfall.

You taught me to be bold
I strained to keep my rights,
You told me never be sold
To the world, I fought my fights.

I did everything you told me
Till the day you died,
Being strong, bold and walking with a stride,
But not anymore, you see
You no longer stood by my side.

Dont you know you were my strength?
With you I could go to any length
But now that your gone, it is too late,
I am yet again sold,
Sold to fate.
