Rain and Vodka

by Fig   Nov 28, 2005

The taste of meat and Vodka
on your lips
the taste of heat and fear
slick grass in rain-drips
and sodden through and through
cold glowing blue
from moonlight
old, now new
splash green water-midnight light
a flash of this, that sound and touch
mingles together
like the wine with the smell of
you
and wet grass
can i actually remember?
or has it all blurred into some dark fantasy
the essence of my past loneliness
and did it even happen at all?
I've gone over it so many times in
my mind
stumbling in the rain
and now i look at you
stranger
cold as rain dipped moonlight
no, it never happened
oh, but just in case, i want you to know
you mean nothing to me
and you are nothing
an idea spun far out of view
a fabrication of my dark imagination
asleep now

Was that poem written about Hannah B's party after amnd? It's really good in any case Turnip, he sounds like a loser and he did the unthinkable (quite amusing party story tho! :D)
