In a World

by William Sirett   Nov 29, 2005

In a world without wrong,
without failure or sin,
I breathe sweet air eternally,
and allow everyone in.

In a world of sweet romance,
a passionate enclose,
A victim around every corner,
who holds a love adored.

In a world of dark behavior,
a life of less belief,
You see the worst in everyone,
and maybe even me.

In a world of lie and deception,
thievery as government,
Truth and trail lies before you,
which you easily shrug away.

In a world of mimicry,
a school child's petty game,
Everything and everyone,
haunts you in the same way.

In a world in which were lost,
never sure where to go,
A fallen friend means everything,
another long lost hope.

Which world do you live in?
