All she could think of was his beautiful face
Why had he left her in this cold, dark place?
To fend for herself, to live alone
To live a lie, to stay unknown
Life without him never crossed her mind
She didn't see him drifting, their fingers came untied
The more she thought, the more she cut
Just one more door that just wont shut
Another day, a whole new scar
Another pointless shinning star
She gave and gave but never received
She thought he loved her, he left her deceived
The silent cries, the burning tears
Her broken heart, the un-fought fear
Her pain consumed her, she was losing the fight
Nothing was ever going to be right
She tried to eat,but it just wont stay
Weeks turned to months and stayed this way
Pound by pound lost like her hope
She didn't wanna try, she didn't wanna cope
She wanted to be perfect, she wanted to be thin
She wanted to be like her, she wanted to be with him
What did he see in her, that she didn't see?
Was it her looks or how more skinny she was then she?
They laugh, they play, he loves HER now
Molding herself to be perfect somehow
When their eyes meet he quickly looks away
Cant he see that she wont be okay?
Through distorted eyes she looks in the mirror
She screams, it shatters, she wants him near
No one could see she was fading fast
If she keeps this up she just wont last...
