No one cares

Faking life,
to prevent worry,
to prevent concern,
but no one cares,
no one notices,
they believe the false shell,
even when the shell disappears,
when it cracks and falls down,
they do not notice what lies beneath,
do not see the pain,
they do not care,
go on with their lives unknowing,
fight and yell,
drink and hit,
do not care what they are doing,
what they cause,
i am not important,
they do not notice me,
cannot tell,
do not know,
they do what they know is wrong,
drinking into oblivion,
fighting and causing pain,
shouting and arguing,
ripping themselves apart,
to them i am nothing,
just a mental case,
a problem,
a curse,
they would be better off without me,
and they do not care anyway,
I could die and they would not morn,
could die and they would not care,
may feel guilty,
feel guilty that i am gone,
but will not be sad for me,
only feel due to their selfish reasons,
of guilt,
they would still fight,
still drink,
still destroy themselves,
my absence would make no change,
for they do not care.
