Reality?

Welcome to my nightmare,
where nothings as it seems,
who knows what is reality,
and what is merely dreams,
shadows in the darkness,
hover out of sight,
who knows what is really there,
in the darkness of the night,
we go though life unknowing,
of things we cannot comprehend,
walk around in innocence,
but when will all this end?
we may wander round forever,
never knowing what is true,
this may be our destiny,
all there is for me and you.
