Lost pieces

I almost told you today-

but I've waited so long;
I had to be sure it's real.
After so many heartbreaks,
and so much pain,
I can't risk being torn open again.

and, I must say it's nice.
To tell you the truth,
You are a broken heart's paradise.
I'm falling for you;
I'm falling quite fast.
I almost dare to hope,
that a while we'll last.
I"m trying so hard to forget the past..
The first guy that broke me,
did it very well.
