If I Can't, He Should

by Lucy Loves Not   Dec 10, 2005

Killed, perhaps, my experiences
Not stored away, but
Cemented at the base and
Thrown to the bottom of the lake:

Idiosyncrasies gathered behind a bastion:
A brick wall built with
Lies, lies, tenfold [at full speed ahead]

Yet!
Yet!
Somehow he caught and recreated
Stitching, intricately, the
Patterns, patterns of my memories

His words succumbed as they
Follow their paths:

Disciplined almost,
As if he brought them
To perform militarily

My God, how he makes me so real!

My past is nothing
If there is no story to tell
