Love Has No Hold on Me

by Ixora   Dec 12, 2005

Another days gone by
All my friends are gone
I want nothing to do with you
And I don’t know what the hell is going on

I used to want to change the world
To make it a decent place
But I guess looks can really kill
Cuz I’ve made enough damaged space

I think the hardest part of holding on
Is being able to let go
I told you this some time before
But I’m not the type to say ‘I told you so’

Broken hearts silenced and scattered
No one dares to lend a hand
The blood is tainted black in flood
Living it doesn’t mean I understand

Tried to give you every clue
But you were stubborn and stupid
Now look at you, your arms, your heart
And you’re still blaming f u c king cupid

Hon, I’ll tell you right now
Nothing will ever be the same
You don’t need anymore f u c king excuses
I’m done playing our game

That innocence that drew me to him
Is the same that drew me to you
Made you blind with bad intend
You never saw what I was gonna do

I guess it was foreseen karma
When my hate finally broke free
You’re not strong enough to be my cure
And love has no hold on me

I hate this line with a passion:
Hon, I’ll tell you right now
Nothing will ever be the same
    You don’t need anymore f u c king excuses
    I’m done playing our game
I really hate it, but it's really good I know, and probably full of feeling and passion. I like the poem though, you're really good
