Undelivered Message

Tears of an angel, fall to the floor.
As thieves of the heart, steal once more.
God's creature lay dim, near the back of the house.
Head in her hands, words in her mouth.
She whispers her screams, speaking a letter to Dad.
Making sure Mom won't hear, so Mom won't get mad.
"Daddy I miss you, I need you near.
And I know that it's her fault you aren't here.
Mommy took me away, I'm not positive why,
But when I asked to stay, I made her cry.
I guess she needs me, as much as I need you.
I just wish she'd understand what I'm going through.
Big sister acts weird, like she's always stressed,
Mom doesn't move because she's always depressed.
Baby brother crys for food, all the time.
I try to take care of him, but Dad, I'm only five!
I need your help Daddy, I don't know what to do.
Torn between you and Mom, Please don't make me choose.
Mommy needs me, and I... need you."

Ok, I just wanted to try a different kind of ending. And I would really appreciate it if you told me what you think (about the rhyme scheme ending.) Did it work alright? I'm not sure myself, so I'm hoping to get alot of people's input to help me make up my mind. I'll always return the favour. Thanks! :)
