Coward Behind a Mask

by Love Fallacy   Jan 4, 2006

Smiles that we each share,
You don't know how feel,
Around you more time I spend,
To see if my feelings are real,

I feel this tingle inside my heart,
Each time that your around,
I hope that you'll be the girl,
To pick my broken heart up off the ground,

I think that you really like me,
But only as a friend,
So that's why I am praying,
That we'll be together in the end,

A barrier in between our love,
Your boyfriend is in the mix,
The relationship you two have,
Is something your trying to fix,

I know that this does sound bad,
But I hope it doesn't last,
The more and more that you two fight,
The more onto you I grasp,

A princess in a movie,
Your more beautiful than she,
Just lend me your soft hand,
And give your love to me,

You have such a cute smile,
Like of that of a newborn baby,
And lips that look oh so soft,
I wish that you were my lady,

Not only do you posses beauty,
But your personality is so great,
So smart and talented in many ways,
I know that we could date,

A girl that has her goals planned,
I just hope that you can make room,
For someone who wants to share his love,
And allow our love to bloom,

This is so very hard for me,
I don't know how to ask,
A question that could change my life,
I'm a coward behind a mask,

I want you to except my gift,
Like a present at Christmas time,
Embrace me with your tender touch,
And say that you'll be mine
