The Inocent

by Cassandra   Jan 16, 2006

She was little when it started
all the pain and abuse
when her mother finally departed
but left her there to lose
he started to get angry
and hit her when she cried
little did she knew it would sadly make her die
she tried to let us know
but we didn't take the time
we just walked right past her
and laughed when she cried
she died alone in her room, lifeless on the floor
her skin was left bloody
after her father had beat her once more
the darkness held her tight
for it was her only friend
we should of helped her win her fight
but we were all to late
the heavens closed her exit door as she entered the gate
