Lover's End

by Love Fallacy   Jan 17, 2006

I sit in my chair,
At the clock I stare,
Wondering when,
My life will end,

Then suddenly,
God calls for me,
On my feet I stand,
And grab his hand,

I'm in the sky,
Flying real high,
I enter the gate,
It's the perfect estate,

Looking at the ground,
Where my family's found,
I see them cry,
Because I died,

A peaceful place,
With a perfect face,
A body of stone,
Now I'm not alone,

As I contemplate why,
I chose to die,
I stare down at her face,
Realized no could take her place,

She doesn't want me,
Now I finally see,
It only took my life,
To realize she won't be my wife
