I dare you,
Look deep inside my soul.
Tell me what you see,
It's nothing but a shattered hole.

Broken dreams,
Lost hope.
Nothing I can do,
I'm sliding down a slippery slope.

You think I'm strong,
Well think again.
I'm only human,
Even I can't endure every pain.

Physically strong, yes I am,
I'm tough as a nail.
Emotionally, torn apart,
I'm very frail.

Paint on a fake smile everyday,
Inside, alone I hurt.
Visions flash through my mind,
Visions of a blood stained shirt.

Hoping to leave this life,
Life of misery and pain.
But why hurt others,
The demon will eventually be slain.

I will tough it out till the end.
I will not break.
I will not give up on life.
Giving up is one mistake, im not willing to make.
