Reflections

by EmptyEyes   Jan 19, 2006

Out of nothing, this cave has formed.
Each day it will grow larger and larger,
Just like the others.
Out of procreation, a being will stand tall.
growing and dieing together, as the sun above rises again.
Every one euphoric sound projected from the man,
The walls will reflect a warm night and bright day.
However, once a cacophonous sound hits the wall of the cave,
The cave will only reflect the nightmares of what the man fears.

The Mask Of The Ocean.

At day the sea lays at peace.
A bed for the angels,
and a home for the fish.
The walls of the cliff do not attack the sea,
instead, it caresses the sea as a mother would
for a crying child with a womb.
As night falls it fills the sea with dark intent.
The waves only grow in power and greed.
Starving to destroy everything with its omnipotent waves of hatred.
The cliffs have no choice and it can't leave.
Angered by the wave,
It roars with the tumbling of rocks,
tipped off by the ever gentle force of the wind, they fall into the deep.
Once again the sun rises and the sea retreats.
It will remain in peace, until the darkness masks the true intents
Of the once known as serenity.

Well I don't know. I tried a different style of poetry so I know these two new ones are really not worth reading....Sorry...
