Refreshing

My mind is racing and my heart is beating,
Sweat drips down my face from the heat I'm feeling,
I pay the lady to give me what she has,
And even though I'm tired I take it in real fast.

I fall into a trance when it enters my mouth,
This bitter sweet nectar that turns me upside down,
It's the tingling sensation that makes me smile,
As I drink it all up with excellent style.

I look at the lady with her eyes full of joy,
I know she's happy with what she's given this boy,
I thank her and leave thinking nothing is better,
Then being refreshed by a cold Dr. Pepper.
