My only Friend

Darkness is my only friend
it holds me as I cry
says its ok for me to die
to just let go if this world is to tough
letting me know staying alive is rough
not pointing at me when I pick up the blade
keeping me whole when I begin to fade
it doesnt push me when I am down
or call me a worthless, foolish clown
surrounds me when I am alone
helps me find my way out when in the maze I roam
when I am fallen it gives me a hand
when I am defenseless it takes a stand
its love for me will never end
because Darkness is my only friend
