Barren Land

Right in the middle of barren land
alone with my tears i stand
thinking of the time i had

sometime back, with me, i had you
now i wonder, if you know, what i am going through
if you could tell me, with this life, what should i do?

i know, time changes everything
& now i realize, what i meant to you
yeah that's what i was, just a "thing"

soon you will realize, the real me
drown in your own eyes, with regret & misery
hoping if you could undo the moment, of setting me free

just a matter of time, till you understand
how it feels to be in the middle, of a barren land
where alone with my tears, i stand

if releasing pain could have been so easy
if behind every smile you could see
then you might not have to search for the real me
or live the way i live with regret & misery
wonder if this pain would ever set me free

set me free

as my tears
touch ground
i see so many of me
growing around

    Wow... amazing lines yaar. Absolutely breath taking. Your poems always leave me speechless and I forget my adjectives. lol.... anyways, excellent work once again. I dont know what else to say, I truely am speechless.
