Of suffering

by Jacob Perry   Jan 29, 2006

Tears of crimson fall from the sky
the pit opens and laps them up hungrily
the hole in the soul is only a symbol
the minds weakness reflected by pain
a friend and a lover entwined by fate
nothing but pain can prevail in the end
all is Blue in a world of Red
all lost under a mask of happiness
lust driven madness kills the soul
the knife's at the throat
the foot's at the egde
the pain's at the brim
the stranger has come back
and i am me no longer
