Each Day

by Bill Turner   Feb 5, 2006

From the moment of our birth
We are stalked by death
Ever trying to end our mirth
Take away our breath

We have but one thing to do
Live each day as if it is our last
Lay your head down when the day is through
Knowing that this time is past

As the sun lights the day
Awake and live with all your heart
Your conscience guiding the way
As you make yet another start

With the dawn of each new morn
We wear our honor like a crown
As we start our day we are reborn
Live your life without a frown

Touch the lives of those around you
Show them all of your love
Spread it and share it in all you do
Soaring like a snow white dove

When your breath is finally done
Be remembered as a good soul
Let others see you as the one
Helping to make them feel whole

A really beautiful message, I agree with JJ, I think there are a lot of people out there who would benefit from considering a similar philosophy. Really stunning ideas and it flows wonderfully too!
